Balls for that 45 are a bit undersized so there are two sizes that might be best and they are. I remember not where I dont think I paid much at all for it as I recall. There are no "cartridges" sold for it, it is all separate. Some many many years ago, I got a black powder pistol cap lock single shot. Most likely you will use a #11 sized cap on the nipple and I recommend the CCI caps if using substitute powders which are more difficult to ignite vs real black powder.
